Manaram Group is a leading manufacturer and exporter of quality goods and services from Nepal. We began modestly, exporting dog chews (Churpi) and handicrafts to the United States, and today we are proud to be a family of over 350 diverse employees working across 8 enterprises.

We are dedicated to supporting Nepal’s agricultural exports by delivering high-quality products rooted in ethical practices and locally sourced ingredients. Driven by our mission to reduce Nepal’s trade deficit, we focus on promoting Nepalese products and services globally, upholding the highest standards of integrity and quality in all we do.

  • Driven by People.
  • Defined by Products.
  • Determined by Progress.

Our Story

Our Story

Highlighting our first tour of dairy centers in Eastern Nepal and the launch of Himalayan handicraft exports.

Two decades ago, Ram Bahadur Shrestha, affectionately known as Ram Dai, set out with a vision to promote social welfare by creating employment opportunities. His two sons, Sujan Kumar Shrestha and Suman Kumar Shrestha, joined him in forming Manaram, a name rooted in deep meaning: “Mana,” representing “heart,” and “Ram,” symbolizing “God,” together expressing the company’s core values of “God in Heart.”

This marked the founding of Manaram Himalayan Handicraft (MHHC) in 2003, which has since become one of Nepal’s leading agricultural- based export companies.

Since its inception, there has been no looking back for this trio. Today, guided by our core values and a dedicated team, Manaram has achieved significant growth, establishing itself across multiple sectors.
